The Hainanese people are an early migrant group, best known for their culinary skills. Hear how Hainanese migrants started their journey in Singapore and rose to culinary fame. Experience the streets where they plied their trades and savour some of the iconic Singapore dishes they created, including Hainanese Chicken Rice!
The tour will begin from the Seah Street entrance of the Raffles Hotel. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start time.
Things to note:
- In the event of poor weather conditions, the tour may be cancelled, and rescheduling will be arranged.
- Please come in comfortable walking shoes.
- By signing up for this tour, you agree that you are well enough to participate in the activity. The operator will not be responsible for any injury or damage to any persons or property.
Traveller's Eligibility*

- Present ticket - Present your ticket at the experience to redeem your SingapoRewards
Cancellation policy
- If you are unable to make it for your booking, please CANCEL at least 48 hours prior to the experience time.
- Otherwise, you will not be able to reschedule your free experience even if you did not attend.
- Please note that there is only one free experience redemption per visitor.
